Magento 2.4.2 Out of Stock (Indexing)

Hi,

I’ve noticed that in order to update the product to show ‘out of stock’ on the frontend, i have to manually indexer:reindex from the command line. However, on the demo website of Claue theme, and I think generally it should go automatically on Out of Stock without manual indexing.

So is there a way that whenever an order is placed the product/productcatalog should be indexed automatically so if any product goes out of stock then its updated.

What’s the solution here?

I was able to fix it by putting ‘Stock’ in index management to Update on Save.
