Was wondering what preparations anybody has made yet for Brexit in January?
Currently we charge:

**VAT to any country in the EU that doesn’t have a valid EU VAT number
**VAT for UK countries
**No VAT for any EU business with a valid EU VAT number
**No VAT to the rest of the world.

From January 1st 2021 will everything outside of the UK effectively be an export with no VAT? If that’s the case it should be fairly simple!

Hard to make any real preparations when nothing is really finalised. A number of gov pages are still inconclusive.

However, as things stand, my understanding concurs with yours. Would be so happy not to do EC Sales Lists.

Don’t forget to look into what happens with NI though. That’s on my list of things to do.
