New Relic is a SaaS based subscription service that provides detailed real-time visibility into business and performance metrics for data-driven decision making.
The Software integrates into your web server and produces an overwhelming amount of data to help you make informed decisions in Server Optimisation and Bug Fixing. I think most of the data would go straight over my head. However, I was won over by the following presentation:
It isn’t cheap, but I think it could be a valuable tool for an Enterprise grade setup. Especially when downtime and bugs can lead to tons of lost revenue.
I’ll update this post with my decision and a review if I ever bite the bullet. It might help you make an informed decision in the future.
