I recently erased magento from my web server.
Before doing so I had fully backed up magento as well as downloaded all the /var/www/html folder.
So my question is, can i simply found pages’ files somewhere in there or are they hidden?
I’ve found that homepage is in some cms file, but what I’m mostlyinterested in are other pages I created and text in them.
You won’t find html files lying around your web directory. All pages are generated using PHP + MySQL. Therefore, you’d want to access your Magento Backend to recover your content or your Frontend to view the actual page.
